Seyeon Chang is an active jazz pianist, composer and educator. She has performed extensively around New York and New Jersey area, and now she is doing a variety of musical activities in South Korea.
After graduated Busan Foreign Language High School, Seyeon earned a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) degree in classical composition and a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in jazz performance at Mokwon University. In 2018, Seyeon got a Master of Music (M.M.) in jazz performance at William Paterson University.
Not only as a performer but also as a researcher, Seyeon has cross-disciplinary research of the relationship between improvisation and life experience; she has done a qualitative investigation into jazz improvisers' cognition in familiar and unfamiliar group settings.
Seyeon is currently teaching as an adjunct professor in the Music Department at Dong-Eui University and Silla University in South Korea. Seyeon is always eager to meet with great artists, and beautiful companions all around the world.
